European Economic Congress in Katowice starts today and one of the most important topic under discussion will be the future of the Polish energy sector. For several years now we are developing a Virtual Power Plant – an open platform, which is based on instruments such as negawatts produced by active energy consumers. Initially, those consumers will consist of supermarkets, office buildings, movie theatres, sports halls and swimming pools. Soon tenders for negwatts will commence on new, favorable terms – Grzegorz Nowaczewski, CEO of Virtual Power Plant writes about the preparations for the implementation of the law introducing the power market in Poland.
